OUR PTO THANKS YOU!
The PTO thanks all of YOU for you awesome support this year in our Quincy Reading Marathon and Spring Fling!! Thanks to you, we were able to fund fun events such as Donuts with Dad, Muffins with Mom and Grandparents Day here at Quincy for $950. We were also able to cover the cost of field trips this year in the amount of $7,500 and most importantly support our fabulous teachers and Quincy Staff by granting them over $15,500 in books, teaching aids and classroom supplies to assist them in making Quincy all it can be for our kids! We are looking forward to funding Field Day yet this year and your continued support in the 2017-18 school year! Thank you!
ATTENTION 5TH GRADE STUDENTS
If you would like to be on the Cross Country team (boys and girls) or Tennis team (girls) next fall at Creekside, please stop at the Creekside office to sign up and pick up an information sheet. Fall sports start on August 21. A physical form (dated after 4/15/17) will also need to be turned in to the Creekside office before you can begin on August 21.
READING IS AN ADVENTURE! SUMMER STRETCH 2017
Zeeland’s Summer Stretch program is going for a WILD change this year! Based on research, reading for enjoyment is out target goal for this summer! Instead of receiving a workbook to complete over the summer months, all current Kindergarten through fourth grade students will be given two brand new, just right books to read throughout the summer!
During the week of May 30th, all Kindergarten through fourth grade students will attend a presentation about summer reading and personal goal setting. Please be on the lookout for a gallon size Ziplock bag, containing their new books, paper pennants to share their personal review of the books, and more information about how you can support your child over the summer! We are looking forward to this new adventure in summer reading!
